As the Content Editor of FSC from April 2022, I was responsible for writing and editing long- and short-form copy across a range of formats in print, digital, marketing collateral, socials and video, applying appropriate TOV to different projects to deliver exciting and original content while promoting FSC’s activities in the local Peckham community and creative membership network.
FSC Mag is the Future Strategy Club’s quarterly print and digital magazine created with our members and partners. It showcases our amazing member’s thinking and creative outputs plus heroes the work FSC does with our partners in the local community. It is a proper celebration of the power of creativity to do good across both commercial and social domains by helping business and society prosper.
I drove issue 5 and 6 of FSC Mag from ideation to distribution while researching and interviewing contributors, ghost-writing articles, brief writing, providing and managing editorial feedback. Delivering invigorating social media content, copywriting and planning design assets for the FSC brand.
I also delivered post and asset copy for event marketing collateral, FSC Mag promotion and event posters to build the FSC brand.
When exploring the future of the creative career, many are fearful of becoming obsolete. FSC Content Editor Lauren Hurrell explores how creatives must harness digital tools to diversify and promote our work, while developing those skills not taught in formal education – collaboration, empathy and creativity – to keep advancing our specialisms and our careers.
